I don't have any use for vinyl personally, so I'm glad that they didn't squeeze it into this package like they did for Aqualung. I wonder how much this puppy will cost with the two DVD's and the book and all. I was quite happy with the value for the money proposition on the Benefit set.

. Am I missing something here? Wasn't this Tulls 6th LP or is Living in the past considered the 6th album?

June can't come fast enough for me. I am very excited for this release! One of my favorite Tull releases. Already looking past this for the next release! Steve can't crank them out fast enough for me!

"Passion Play" is my favorite Tull album. I'll be on this like flies on sherbet.

I'll buy this for sure, even though the only thing I've heard from it is the edit on MU.

I like Tull, and these Deluxe Editions, enough to buy it blind.

Main floor, 2nd tier, to the right. Saw them at Goose Lake Music Festival in 1970 the first time.

Again no Blu-ray or at least lossless surround sound - disapointing. They could take one Blu-ray instead of two lossy DVDs.

I apologize if I missed it but will there be a 2cd version?

Exactly what I was thinking! I hope so, I have no use for the 2 DVDs, and they will surely use them to charge too much for the set, as they did for TAAB. I'm still waiting for a 1cd release for TAAB...

Usually the DVD/CD sets are pretty reasonably priced.

It's official for sure, with a date : June 13th.

"Steven’s stereo / 5.1 remix of Jethro Tull's 1973 album A Passion Play has been announced for release on 13th June as a deluxe 2 CD / 2 DVD set, including new mixes of both the album itself and the “lost” album recorded at Château d'Hérouville in 1972, for the first time in its complete 60 minute form."

Now available to order and the price from Amazon.co.uk is very decent indeed. Less than £18 for four discs? Makes some recent releases look very 'aspirationally' priced.

  22. Wow!! I went to just one (06-02) and it blew my mind!

  23. Surprising to see all the love this great album gets here. It seemed to me in the past that I was the only one championing it, and you could always find it dirt cheap in the used bins... even with the original cover!

What an album cover huh? It had a real impact on me when I first saw it way back when.
I just HAD to buy the album to hear the drama I was seeing.
