So they are holding out for NO money? How much money can German TV expect to make on a lip sync video of old ghosts? Most people including tull fans never heard the song.

That September 15 date, the casino is literally handing out tickets in the gaming area. Some genius booked the show in a 15,000 seat arena. I think they thought they were getting Jethro Tull. I turned them down.

I think he means that the casino wasn't aware that this is Ian Anderson & Band who will not draw 15,000 people in 2019. Jethro Tull, in its prime, would sell that easily. So the casino is panicking and handing out free tickets to gamblers to get them to come back to see the show, and presumably, gamble some more.

Oh, got ya! Thanks. That makes sense.

(Edit) But this concert does says "Tull":

They are often billed as "Jethro Tull", but that band doesn't exist anymore, since 2011 when Martin Barre and Ian Anderson parted ways. It's really the Ian Anderson band playing Jethro Tull. Martin Barre is also touring playing Tull songs, but his band doesn't claim to be Jethro Tull.

1996 track-list - Is it Tull? Is it Ian Anderson solo...

Agreed 100%! Though many seem to be hoping for COAK...and though I want that one as well both of these albums are great Tull and more than worthy of the attention....and I’d actually prefer either to COAK.

I was listening to the ‘93 remix of “Black Sunday” recently, and while it could do without all the digital reverb, it really shows the potential of a good remix on this album. “A” absolutely begs for a remix.

Well they all need the treatment. Especially sword, wraps, crest and rock. Wouldn’t bother me too much if remixes stopped after that but i still want to hear unreleased 90s material

A needs it more than sword, wraps, crest and rock

I started to write out what each of the four would beat, but realized it only works with three entries!

Actually i’ve never understood how anyone could think A is not a good sounding album.

Sounds fine to me. Of course it will benefit from a remix. I’d say it’s some of keyboard sounds people don’t like but that’s got nothing to do with the recording though. Hopefully there’s at least one new track that I can replace Batteries with lol

Weird. I’ve always heard a thick layer of mud on it, even though the mix itself is not bad. Ever since “Aqualung” was remixed in 2011, a remix of A has been highly anticipated by me.

Just goes to show how different we percieve things. Would be a boring world if we all were of the same oppinions.
