Right, I got that, but I never heard it as being particularly “dull” sounding. Folks were saying they heard dullness in both the original and remix. I was asking, what dullness?

Been listening to this for a couple days now, and yeah, it's a great set and sounds fantastic - nice to hear a CD that's not bricked.
And the live CDs sound good to me - better than a lot of official live releases, so not sure why people are complaining about that.
Haven't listened to the 5.1 yet - I am able to do so, but will make time for that later.

Well that’s encouraging. Do you remember where he said that? Do you have a source?

The drums on A are excellent. Not as ornate as Barrie of course, but they’re very strong.

The most beautiful words any music fan can read... “Out for delivery.”

Stormwatch will be in my hands by the end of the day.

Canceled my order from Burning Shed last weekend and ordered from amazon.de. Received the package today but... DVD 1 is missing! :realmad:

Yes, that slot is empty. Everything was properly sealed in plastic so it must be a factory packing error. :(

If you don't hear it, it's not a problem. But for me it seemed like certain frequencies sounded a bit muffled on a couple of tunes. But I haven't heard the new mix.

Same here, I've got all but about 7 or 8, missing albums by XTC, Simple minds and Marillion.

to be fair, I’m sure I have some high freq hearing loss at this point. But I don’t remember it sounding dull before my ears got cooked from decades of jamming too much

Thanks for the reminder. I knew there was some reason I hadn't bought that one. I bid on ebay last night....... Sad, sounds like a situation where the cd's would sound better than the dvd.

I've decided to stick with Burning Shed and wait a month, although the posts here are tempting me to amazon.de.
I'm disappointed that The Water's Edge ballet music didn't make it on here particularly since David and Martin were involved.

I read somewhere that Ian took Dave aside and explained that is wasn't a group of friends and what each member thought of IA. Dave said he got each one spot on. I think Dave also said he felt a little friction from Barrie.

...and we have the title of the next set
