I think I'm just gonna stick with the vinyl because I don't need the surround mix. I hope it's good

I think it is safe to say after all of all that transpired it will be SW's mix/original mastering for sure

I pre ordered the cd book version. Last time I bought this album was a cd reissue that simulated the vinyl packaging and added a couple of bonus cuts. Streamed the Wilson mix plenty and this is as good an opportunity as any to scoop a copy up.

  12. True but I sincerely doubt they'll make the same mistake. Now they might have all new mistakes but the same one? Nah.

Is there any official news yet as of what version will be included?

Reading through the thread, it looks like some are taking for granted that the SW mix and unmastered version will be included hence asking.

    Email from Pete @ BurningShed:
"As far as we know the CD/DVD will contain the correct version without the glitch!"
He's referring to the 5.1 mix I think. I didnt' receive a precise answer re: the stereo mix mastering, but I think the label does not consider it an issue.

Why not email him back to clarify the stereo mix?

Yeah, it will probably be a clone of the original corrected DVD. Meaning a corrected 5.1 mix with no Mew mastering, and a hi-res stereo remix with Mew mastering.

Now involved. I've requested that the remix stereo without Peter Mew's mastering be used. Fingers crossed all, please fingers crossed. Praying might help, too.

Re: the 40th Book version repress. Anyone else fighting the urge to go to the 200-250 Euro listings on discogs and ebay and just comment SUCK IT! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!
Admittedly petty - I am a horrible person, won't do it. BUT I am glad I waited! :D
