I like large parts of APP, but I love all of Thick As A Brick...The SH-Mastered side one is TDF.

TAAB--But Aqualung is better than both of them.

    Passion Play.
I like bits and pieces of TAAB, but it kind of slogs along in places.

Thick as a Brick. Passion Play is actually one of the few early Tull's I just have never gotten into.

    TAAB for me.
I have never been able to get into APP.
I admit to not giving side 2 of APP much of a chance so I will give it a go in the next few days. I don't think it will change my feelings about this album, but you never know.

'Thick as a Brick' - I've tried to listen to APP many times, it just doesn't work for me.

The first born always gets the nod, but the younger learned from the mistakes.

I honestly haven't heard APP in quite some time and always rather struggled with it in the past. Now I think I'm waiting for the forthcoming reissue before I reassess. I'm particularly interested to hear more of the Chateaux D'Isaster material--maybe that will help to open the thing up for me.

Reason? It's one of the greatest rock albums I've ever heard, period.
