I'm surprised to get this far and see that my two choices haven't been mentioned yet--At The Station and Happy Ways. I love most of the others mentioned as well.

Yeah, it's got to be Turn to Stone from "Barnstorm" - but I first heard it on the Lords of Dogtown soundtrack.

Only one Joe Walsh song per Eagles album was paltry and absurd.

I’m glad to see so many mentions of “The Confessor”. It’s such an atmospheric track and Joe’s skills at arranging all those layered guitar parts is fantastic.

BARNSTORM is a personal favorite with “Turn to Stone” a standout.

“Ashes, the Rain and I” has a brilliant Jack Nietzsche string arrangement.

Joe often hides his brilliance behind the guise of a joker, but the man is a great talent.

not if you understand the dynamics, one was all he was ever going to get, schmit also. and they both knew, and accepted it.

It’s between “Rivers (Of The Hidden Funk,” “Indian Summer,” and “County Fair.”

Funk 49 (still even though it’s been played to death)

The man has a lot of great tunes. Too bad some people just know him for a couple of novelty songs.
