Mofi did 2 John Hiatt titles... and A&M released its backkatalog 2 years ago... all titles were remastered by A&M's chief engineer Dave Collins.
Now Hip-O released a 2 CD compilation (remastered by Erik Labson)... and finally this remaster sounds fantastic! They easily surpass the A&M remasters!!! Anybody who likes John Hiatt should look for this compilation.

    Claus,
Do you mean that they sound better than the MOFI or just the A&M re?

Yes, they're even better than the A&M and Mofi Remaster. That's the definitive best sounding CD!!! You can believe it... compare for yourself!

Check Out John's new release "The Tiki Bar Is Open," a great return to form. A good mix of rockers and slower songs. Sonny Landreth does some nice playing on guitar throughout.
