Murphy Brown (CBS) (2018) In the episode titled A Lifetime Of Achievement, John plays Judge Nate Campbell who is a kindred spirit to Murphy Brown.

He had a superb cameo on an ep of PARKS AND RECREATION as Leslie's mom's old flame but I always wondered whether he turned down a chance to be Fielding again on 30 ROCK ("The One with the Cast of Night Court") or wasn't asked at all.
Parks and Recreation (NBC) (2010) In the episode called Galentine's Day, John played Frank Beckerson who was the long lost love of Leslie's mother Marlene Knope.

The Practice (1997-2002) (ABC) A few years after Night Court and The John Larroquette Show ended, John managed to get a recurring role as Joey Heric, who is a wealthy, wisecracking, narcissistic psychopath with a habit of stabbing his gay lovers to death. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for the role in 1998, and was nominated for it again in 2002.
