Come on John your recent works shows you were just getting started. Beat this thing!

 

Oh, man. I’m speechless. Please get through this, Mr Prine.

 

Really really sad and heartbreaking. Love John Prine. Fingers crossed for him to pull through. Horrible virus go away.

Very sad that after all the man has been thru he'd have to battle this as well. Sadly, that's what this blasted virus does best though. It's opportunistic and preys on folks like John Prine with pre-existing conditions. Of course this news came the same day we learned country performer Joe Diffie died of the Coronavirus as well as I Love Rock n Roll songwriter, Alan Merrill of The Arrows. Hopefully Mr. Prine battles his way back from this.

 

Terrible news. My wife and I have run into Mr. Prine and his lovely wife Fiona on a few occasions here in Nashville, and he is just as gracious and kind as you would hope. Sending positive thoughts and prayers out to both of them.

John has been a super human survivor but this new virus has been a terrible leveler of all ages and of varying health. Prayers go out!

 

I don't pray and I don't tweet, but I wanted to do something positive. Earlier this morning I purchased tickets for both of John's next two scheduled concerts (Louisville). The late May dates are almost certain to be postponed regardless of John's health, but they'll be rescheduled if/when he recovers. Here's hoping I get to use them.

 

Awww no! He was enjoying a comeback too. His debut is an instant classic.

had cancer and beat it, so anyone who has
had therapy is likely compromised.

John is a cancer survivor and a very strong man. Sending some prayers and good vibes to John and everyone else battling this evil virus.

I'm not going to lie and say I was ever a huge John Prine fan, I've got a handful of songs I like, but I understand his importance in music. Hoping he gets well and recovers.

 

"Stable" > "Critical", by any definition. I'll take it!
