I actually really love the cover art and whole package design of this, right down to font used and the nice minimal white photo of a slice of cake with "bagism" written on it. Really well crafted package. I just wish there was more actual music on it, but I guess that wasn't the point.

I'd love to see the two Unfinished Music albums reissued. Am I the only one who actually enjoys them?

Heck, even a little more 'audio-verite' would be welcome!

Actually they were re-released on CD and vinyl a year or two ago.

I'd be in for a box set of the John & Yoko LPs (Two Virgins, Life with the Lions, Live in Toronto and Wedding Album) if they are boxed with replica 45s of the Give Peace a Chance, Cold Turkey and Instant Karma singles.

That would be a nice comprehensive pre-POB LB John & Yoko box set.

I’m only buying if it’s remastered from the original analog tapes

How much did the original set sell for back in 1969?

  16. They’ve done a wonderful job w this series. I ordered the vinyl box, cd and T bundle $59. Seems fair.

I was trying to figure out if this was extreme sarcasm.

Funny thing with the Zapple label and what was on it...if they put out Esher at the same time (as a Zapple release)-I wonder how it would have sold?

I'd love to see the two Unfinished Music albums finished! Where are the out-takes and bonus tracks?

  23. I find it funny when I think back that in the fall of 1970, when I started browsing into record stores, local little Mom & Pop shops would still carry these weird objects (the Zapple albums)... They HAD to since these were Beatle products! Thus they were forced into daily contact with avant-garde and weirdness because of The Beatles! lol! They - where I lived, in the sticks - wouldn't have carried much of Zappa... But The Beatles sold, so they had a pass!
