Fantastic! But where is the beer? ;)

Gentlemen I will concede that the calendar in my Wedding Album belongs in one of my Live Peace In Toronto 1969 LPs. My only defense was I got it used in 1977 for a case of beer and the calendar was in the box.

A check of Discogs shows the calendar came in three formats; staple, metal spiral and plastic spiral or a post card to mail in for the Live Peace LP. My Wedding album is SAPCOR 11 and Discogs does not list a calendar in the contents section for UK or US. Just goes to show I learn something new everyday here.

Now that is out of the way....

What type of case of beer was it? ;)

I have to admit that my first exposure to The Wedding Album (TWA, for short; not to be confused with the White Album) was in this form:

I will be (hopefully) happily splurging on this.

I've always thought of this release as similar to other somewhat "brushed aside" Beatles-related releases like George's "Wonderwall", "The Beatles Story" or the Beatles Christmas Records etc, as something I seem to enjoy more than most (from what I gather).

I don't know, as some have mentioned, if it's largely due to the overall packaging and inserts, or what, but I've always kinda liked this one.

[IMG]Don't know if my images will come up, (this is my first posting of pics), but I have a Wedding Album on U.S. Apple, in perfect shape, perfectly sealed. I paid between 45 and 80 for it back in 82. I haven't seen anything like this in this condition, let alone sealed. It is hard to find a U.S. one in any condition. It even has factory breathe holes. Perfect white condition too. I've kept it perfect all these years. Wonder what it is worth.

I copied the URL and pasted it. Not sure why it isn't working.

The line across the left center of the album is discoloration of the shrink and not the cover. I did just notice a slight wrinkle to the back of the box - but very very small.
Anyway, if I could get some help with posting pics, I have a few more related gems to post if anyone is interested.

Do not copy & paste. Drag the URL right into the reply box. You should see the picture at that point.

This is also sealed. I found it difficult to find a sealed cassette version of this one.

These are much easier to find. Both are sealed.

This one I opened. It didn't come with the bag inside. I read somewhere that the Japanese versions omit this for some reason. It is in pristine condition (unless one takes issue with the tear in the banner).

These are all sealed but one. 4 sealed calendars, a 5th opened, two sealed reissues, and two without calendars.

These are closeups of the four sealed original calendar ones. Two are wire spines and the other two are plastic spines (a bit more rare).

While we are posting about these Unfinished series albums, I thought I would post one more.
This is a perfect sealed original apple Life With the Lyons. I paid about 40.00 back in 82.
Haven't seen this one as a sealed original anywhere.

Sealed cost me $10 along with the Live Peace I opened today to show the post card bought at Sessions Music Portsmouth New Hampshire where I used to work in 1982.

$2 garage sale find in 1983.

Camelot Music Ft Walton Beach Florida 1977 $14.

This is a Japanese import of this album that I also have. 13.99 at Tower Records back when. It was clear taped sealed, if one can even count that as sealed. Many imports I have, such as my German Beatles albums are tape sealed like this with a fold over bag. I Much prefer my sealed U.S. Apple copy. Are the Japanese copies rare at all these days?
