I bought the blue vinyl For the Roses. It came with a massive seam split at the top, and non-fill here and there. I could tell that under all that noise there was a great sounding mastering, but I am not going to put myself in the position of having to contact customer service for replacements. I am going to pass on this box set.
I am glad the replacement discs are finally being sent. I contacted that email and gave them my order number from the official Joni Mitchell website, and that was sufficient to get the replacement disc sent.
Yeah but people can still complain about the time it took to do it and the slow shipping speed/packaging. It ain't over by a long shot.
CD. [email protected] You might get asked to fill in a form they link to, then you should get an e-mail confirmation that a replacement's being sent. EG.
I'm in the UK and ordered my cd box through Amazon UK. I filled in the form and got confirmation that a replacement cd will be sent. I'm just hoping I don't get stung for customs costs from the US.
I've been trying to order the vinyl box on the official Joni site all morning but I keep getting error messages. Is that site typically buggy or is it just me? I tried to enter my CC info and then I tried Paypal and both methods gave me this message: We're sorry that your order could not be placed. This may have happened due to a high order volume or temporary connection errors. Please wait a few minutes and resubmit. Please be sure that you are including the address that is associated with your credit card billing. If you are still are unable to complete your order, please contact your credit card issuing bank
The order form on Neil Young’s Greedy Hand site has been giving me the same error message for the last couple of days (I haven’t tried it yet today). Both sites are run by WB/Rhino. So there must be something wrong on the backend and maybe it won’t get fixed until after the weekend.
It might have been nice had I actually LISTENED to 'Court And Spark' when I got the box set. Yet another of those albums that was owned by everyone BUT me and played all over FM radio. So I just skipped it. BUT....in the wee hours of today when I read this thread, I sent an email to the address noted here requesting a replacement disc and giving them my order number from her official store. I wanted that print. This morning I received an email that they are 'reviewing' my request and will contact me shortly. Thanks for the information! I'll guess that they will have a disc out to me shortly.
Good on Rhino, then. Can't help but think this forum may have contributed. Bad on them for the f-up, and for taking so long though.
So you would like to presume that any future production runs of the box set should have a correct disc inside ? However all those boxes currently in warehouses and stock rooms of sellers everywhere, which still contain a faulty disc, I guess will still be sold as is.
