Saw this yesterday. Didn’t mind it, wouldn’t be in a hurry to see it again. My kids enjoyed it. Would give it 6 out of 10. Sam Neil’s acting was very wooden I thought. How is it possible 30 years later the Dinosaurs look less believable than the original? Some of the CGI was very ordinary.

this may bother some but as long as there are Dinosaurs I'm in! The actors are secondary although I am a fan of Chris Pratt..

i read some of the reviews today after going in blind yesterday. I think they’re overly harsh for the most part. It’s no Oscaf winner but makes for a good cinema flick.

Not always, the critics really liked the first one JP (1993) 92% and Jurassic World (2015) 71%. All films are not created equal.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kindom. I completely missed that one! When did that come out? During Covid?

  13. A really dumb movie. I watched it this Saturday and thought it was easily the worst of the franchise (and that's saying something, 'cause the last 2 were stinkers).

The first one was easily the best and pushed the boundaries of big budget blockbusters forward. Great movie.

The reviews were awful, but I have to take my kid to see it maybe tomorrow. We liked the Jurassic World movies thus far, but I doubt I will like a movie where 70% of critics panned it. Sounds like they shouldn't have forced the original cast back with Sam Neill et al. They should have gone a different direction, but oh well. Too late now.

Shoehorning the original cast in was all just fan service. Just ignore the critics, it’s honestly not that bad.
