I think it's safe to say that she appeals to a wide range of people.

Great artists tend to do that. ;)

Ordered 'Aerial' by itself on LP from her shop today for a very reasonable $31.00 and it's nice to know a good part of that is going to help people.
Looking forward to comparing it to the original LP it will go next to on the shelf.

In all the excitement of the remasters and thanks to the enthisiasm of this thread, I ordered BTD on vinyl and just found out it has arrived at my local store ... very excited to hear it for the very first time :)

I experienced quite possibly the best live rendition of Oh England, my Lionheart, performed by a drag, it was amazing. She performed as guest for Cloudbusting, a coverband, Id say she outperformed them.

John Kelly could hit notes in the '90s and 2000's that Joni hadn't been able to hit in a quarter century:

Not too sure where this thread is heading...

Anyone compared the remastered CD with the vinyl?

That one was hard to miss, even for a dunce like me!

As for knowing about the rest of the references, some say knowledge is something that you never have.

  14. Yeah it's hard to sometimes pick up all the references to all the stuff in her work. Heck, there are times where I've listened and even today I think "did I get that reference before?" or I interpret it differently than before. That's our Kate always keeping us hopping.

Does anybody know anything about this release? I found it by chance and come back to it every once in a while. It's so beautiful. I wish there would be more of this.
