It's worth noting Keith Richards has officially quit everything worth quitting.

Many say they tried everything at least once. Not Keith. He's tried - then quit - everything at least once.

    Go Keith, go.

Evidently, he barely drinks alcohol anymore. What's next- the cover of Mens Fitness?

Keith quitting smoking really means that he switched from Marlboros to Marlboro lights.

Leary's complete Smoke sketch is way funnier than that. And the pace is killing.

What's the law now ... you can only smoke in your apartment under a blanket with all the lights out, is that the rule now, huh ? The cops are outside: "We know you have the cigarettes. Come out of the house with the cigarettes above your head "

You may want to throw a "Language Warning" thing next to that clip, LOL.

Leary's "No Cure For Cancer" is still the funniest comedy show that I've ever heard or seen. I still remember the first time I heard it, it was just the CD (one of those "buy it and try it" things that a local music store offered). I was in the middle of listening to it and I called my wife at work because I could barely catch my breath, I was laughing that hard. But, with that said, I have played that thing for others and they have given me a dear in the headlight look that I can't explain. Maybe they thought that Denis was over the top or that it was just too offensive to them, but for me, I've honestly never laughed harder, that is, with exception to the "Elvis & Jesus" bit, which was a bit TOO much!

I figure you've probably seen some of Hicks's pardon me for smoking routines. Language warning applies here, too. Bill Hicks - Smoking

Bill was the best. Period. Saw him twice before he was on anyone's radar. I know for a fact he was a Keith fan.

I've been tobacco free for two years. Coincidentally my music accumulation has risen dramatically.

I actually just read the other day that Keef had quit smoking back in October.

I wonder if he's completely nicotine free now or if he's using the patch or nicotine gum to keep his system filled with the stuff.

I don't know. It's kinda disappointing. I like it when Keef sneers at the Reaper and puffs away.

Maybe he follows Mark Twain's philosophy :D :
