Keith Richards quits smoking!

No more dirty fags

 

His one semi functioning lung says thank you!

 

He must have heard I’d stopped, cos I haven’t had one since October either. But he’s my Dad’s age so he can do what he likes. I know it’s great to romanticise his longevity, and lovely fags too of course, but hey, please, they kill you slowly and painfully. Addiction to anything lethal is murderously hard to break. And Keith I love you for it, obviously.

 

Good for Keith. We all have areas we need to work on. I’m a foodie so I understand his challenges

Funnily enough...having read this....knowing how heavy a smoker Keef is/was, I thought if HE can do it..anyone can.
After 35 years smoking today is my first smoke free day Have patches and nicotine chewing gum...I will be ok.
Hoping his quitting inspires others as well.
