This U2 performance of Every Breaking Wave just blows me away every time.
This television performance was mildly impactful
I wonder whatever happened to these guys?
Blondie, SNL, 1979, Dreaming
Blondie - Dreaming - Live (Saturday Night Live) (1979) (HD) - video Dailymotion
Iggy and David on the Dinah Shore Show 1977
Fun Time and Sister Midnight
You have to hand it it sweet Dinah as she really embraces them
And the most interesting interview of James Osterberg
DB “My music comes from up about there, Iggy’s ...”. 9:30
Who were they? Must have been flash-in-the-pan one hit wonders....
Talking Heads On David Letterman [I don't know what you expect / Staring into the TV set, indeed] 1983:
Sleater-Kinney on Letterman 2005 [drummer Janet Weiss absolutely killing it]:
This version of Eurythmics "You Have Placed A Chill In My Heart" from Friday Night Live was always a favourite of mine back in the late 80s. Brilliant from Annie.
I remember this from my teenage years.
Iggy Pop behaving in an inappropriate manner with an oversized teddy bear on British children's Saturday morning TV show Number 73. How rude!
My wife & I discovered The Zoo in the early 90's when we were dating; just ran across this performance and have enjoyed multiple viewings. Shakin' the Cage indeed!
Love Dan's guitar playing on this live rendition of "Missing You".
Great band, too.
Thanks for this, first time seeing this for me!!
John Denver and Mama Cass doing Leaving On A Jet Plane...awesome and on you-tube.
two of my fav songs by them...
I’d vote for The Raspberries or Cheap Trick concerts that were live but this is pretty good, too:
Clem just kills it on this track...Nigel too. Shame the guitars aren't turned up a bit louder.
That's a really good version of the song!!! The guitar and Dan's gruffer vocal really makes it rock!
many of the Midnight Special concerts were excellent!
Most of my favorites are here already, the SNL performances by Neil, Sturgill, Elvis Costello, Elvis C and the Beastie Boys, the Letterman performance by Vintage Trouble... Here's one more I've always liked, Lemmy and Phil doing "Let It Rock" with Paul and the boys on the Late Show.
Yeah, it's pretty cool. Not the Dan Fogelberg that most people know. It's a far cry from "Longer",
that's for sure. But Dan's versatility, both as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, is underrated.
Those who claim that he never rocked out should also listen to "Times Like These" from The Innocent Age.
Australia's Triple J radio program gets in-studio artists to cover a song they don't know. They're given about half an hour to prepare, then it's go-time.
I've often cited Norway's Aurora Askenes doing Massive Attack's "Teardrop" as a high point. Scroll in about a minute.
