My all-time favourite promo video is Alice Cooper - Ballad of Dwight Fry, taped for Beat Club (Germany), Fall 1971.

Darn it, I forgot Deep Purple doing "No No No" on German TV in the early '70s.

Two I love are The Hollies live on German TV circa 1966 (the harmonies are incredible), and this amazing appearance by The Beach Boys on Ready Steady Go in 1964.

Certainly one of the greatest ever, that is one killer band!:D:D

Where is Parker? Didn’t know he’s on this. I do know that the guitar player is Michael Sembello (“Maniac” from Flashdance)

My vote for the greatest ever, The Who on the Smothers Brothers in 1967. The intros, great performance and destruction at the end is classic late 60s chaos. Gotta love what Pete does to Tom’s guitar at The end

Criminally underrated - just saw her live in NYC this last weekend and she’s still got it in spades!
