    This was the best MTV awards ever: Madonna, Don Henley, Bon Jovi but this was outstanding, still got my Vhs tape with it... even the intro by Arsenio was quite good!

    Chris Isaak was on one of the network morning shows (I think CBS) in the mid- late- 80s and performed Somebody's Crying. I recall it had a dry sound and absolutely blew me away when he got to the falsetto part, the drums really rocking hard.

    Did the Fonzie ever catch on..really?......but the weird thing about this performance,...actual proof
    that time travel is possible.....1950's performance,but if you see the drummer,he has a hairstyle,clothing from the 1970's:shrug:

    In a similar vein...NY performing Imagine for the 9/11 tribute is a very, very strong memory in my mind. Watching it again for the first time since it happened live, I can still feel how angry he was while playing the song. His face told the whole story here:
