It's being fast tracked here. Last time they fast tracked something was the last series of 24 and it was a full week behind.

    What does fast tracking mean?

You get the program at the same time as it's shown overseas. Cable does it with Game of Thrones and Better Call Saul but free to air tv usually stuffs it up, or fast tracks it for a couple of weeks then falls behind.

Actually it's being shown in the U.S. first, slightly surprising but it is a joint production.

Just heard series 1 has been nominated for 14 Bafta categories.

Oh dear we have a constitutional crisis Killing Eve wasn't eligible for a Bafta, apparently the first transmission of series 1 was in the U.S.

For me too. I liked some parts but didn’t find the whole really compelling.
Felt a little self conscious to me. We’ll see how it goes from here.

Mostly enjoyed it and it left some questions that should be fun watch them reveal the answers to.

Think this is a cool show , with a different feel to it . The two female leads are great in this , especially Comer . Has anyone read the Villanelle novels ?

I was curious to start watching this from ads I saw on BBC America while watching X-Files reruns...but then apparently it was gone, and not streamable. Is the show cool? Well, it looks cool and well acted, but it also looks like one of those shows where the central premise can never be resolved or the show ends. The young woman is a psychopath and they want to catch her? So like in The Fugitive TV show I think it was it goes on and on and you KNOW they'll never catch, because that would be it end of story end of show. ???

It's still on BBC America. I'm looking at it right now.

As for the premise, who knows what's going to happen? The bottom line is the fun is in the episodes, the acting, etc. I'd watch for yourself and go from there.

It has been discussed on tv forums that the assassin will likely join ranks with Eve so if that's the case there's the change up you'd be looking for. I see your point but maybe it's a show that won't go much beyond 3 or 4 seasons. In my opinion the best shows in last several years haven't gone beyond 5 or 6 generally. It gets tapped out after that.

For me, I like Sandra Oh but the reason I watch is Jodie Comer. The story they're telling is good but Comer's the glue holding it all together. I watched the 1st 2 episodes of the season last night. How this girl manages to be an alpha killer AND provide the comic relief to Sandra Oh is fun to watch. Yeah, the story doesn't exactly feel like it's blazing any new trails, the performances by Comer and Oh are the reason to be watching. The last time I felt this type of 'fresh upcoming talent' towards an actor was for Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black!

UK folks, Jodie Comer is one of the guests on the Graham Norton Show this evening, BBC1 at 22.30.
Killing Eve is being rerun straight after.

This song was featured in a key moment in the first episode of the second season

The first season was streaming on Hulu. I wasn't surprised to see Konstantin reappear.

Where are they getting all these obscure songs for the soundtrack?

What's the relationship between BBC America and AMC?
