It was. It'll probably be up and down a few times over the next month or so.

 

As someone that followed the Kinks Anthology's pricing for a very long time waiting for it to hit a sale, their label doesn't play much around with pricing games. They establish a price and seemingly don't over produce their Kink releases. What I am saying is that I don't expect to see drastic price declines for this set other than mistakes by retailers.

 

Popmarket has a 10% off coupon through the weekend, brings their price to $118.38 for the set.

on the Australian iTunes this set has 60 tracks is currently selling in pre-order for $25 Australian,

 

I managed to get in early at £94 (but the same day delivery whacks it up to just over £97).

I'm beginning to doubt it'll drop that low again on AmazonUK before release, but well done anyone who gets it for less.

The price on the super deluxe VGPS set started at $199 Cdn and has slowly but steadily gone up every other day by a dollar. It's at $203 right now. No price reductions thus far.

 

Wow! Glad I pre-ordered early (is that a thing?) from Amazon UK. $105.26 US shipped from UK. The rise in prices indicates to me that pre-order sales are exceeding initial expectations. Thoughts, anyone?

 

A little less in Amazon France right now. I'm not sure about shipping costs though.

In the US Bull Moose price appears to have gone up and PopMarket has come down to $125.99 so I pulled the trigger. Have no experience with them but am hoping for the best.

 

The Amazon Canada price (which was hovering just below $203 CDN) has disappeared. No price listed just a "currently unavailable" notice. So, I guess you can't pre-order this anymore, at the present time.
