Are these reissues limited? Because I tried to order village green at my local shop (Belgium, Europe) but he said it has already been deleted... Seems strange to me. Or it could be he's talking about the previous 2LP version, and the new one doesn't show up in his list yet.
Well.. Amazon has all of the import versions now out of stock.. and.. Music Direct and Acoustic Sounds have the supposed US versions as TBA. They were previously marked with a mid-January date. How hard is it for US customers to get Kinks vinyl (original or reissue) without having to mortgage the house?
Ernie B (no longer reggae only, @ebreggae.com) has had the first four Sanctuary vinyl reissues for about two weeks, still has three of them in stock and most likely will carry the rest once released. He has also begun to carry most audiophile labels (vinyl only) at competitive prices (i.e. MoFi, Pure Pleasure, Speaker's Corner). New releases tend to sell out quickly but are mostly re-stocked. Don't know how competitive shipping charges are since I live only 35 miles away.
According to this facebook announcement it seems to be included... I know there was a 2LP version some years ago. You are correct. I was thinking Myswell Hillbillies which was a RSD release. . Village Green and Arthur don't come out for several more weeks. The others were released in December
There's no release date yet. The sites for Music Direct and Acoustic Sounds say the LPs will be issued by Sanctuary.
I trust that Andrew is in the know, given his excellent reputation and stellar work with the Monkees. But.. I can't find anything on that site that lists more than Face To Face and Kink Kontroversy. It says Sanctuary on the page.. but nothing more than the Jan 27th date.. I'm getting excited.. but not there yet. What's the word on the first two? and discs past FTF & KK??

That's the import. Supposedly there will be a US release as well. Definitely looking forward to these. The Muswell Hillbillies 2xlp has fantastic sound quality. Andrew, do you know if MH was cut from analogue?
If the U.S. versions are analogue and they are coming out literally weeks after the UK versions, wouldnt the UK releases also be analogue?
