Anyone have any info to confirm?
Paul just posted this: https://twitter.com/PaulStanleyLive/status/1431035384868360195
Whew!! That's good news. Thank you!
Paul Stanley has tested positive for Covid-19
Get well Paul! Dang.
This guys got COVID and he was SPITTING picks at people, unbelievable.
Just drove to Star Lake - wasn't announced until right around showtime.
Since Paul and the whole band & crew are vaccinated I'm sure he'll be ok. But still, geez. I know they were being super careful and he still got it.
Didn't they just cancel another show or two this week due to weather?
Any word if David Lee Roth offered to sub for him?
Sucks. I am still holding off buying tickets to the Austin show until the last second but I do hope it goes forward.
Yes. I believe it was Hartford. They delayed it one day I believe
We just need to shut things down until covid goes away.
No, Hartford got postponed indefinitely.
They initially moved it from Sunday to Monday, but then they postponed that with a new date TBA.
It was weather - though apparently the threat of the hurricane fizzled. I have friends up there and they think the show could've gone on Monday and maybe Sunday...
I have/had tickets to the Hartford show. The hurricane did not amount to much and while they were probably right to postpone, I think the show could have happened on Monday without much trouble. The date currently shows as TBA. It's about a 2 hour drive for me so I'm glad they at least announced the change before I did the drive.
From our local news:
Paul Stanley took to Twitter shortly after the concert was postponed saying, "PEOPLE!!! I am fine! I am not in ICU! My heart allows me to do 26 miles a day on my bike! I don’t know where this came from but it’s absolute nonsense."
False positive perhaps?
EDIT: The nonsense part is referring to the rumor that he had a heart attack.
There's no date or city on this. (Or am I missing it?) I'm skeptical that it was within the last week. "In the age of COVID" could mean Feb 2020.
Still pretty dumb.
Have KISS been doing meet & greet photos with plexiglass? Black CroWes might be the only other band currently doing M&Gs at the moment. Gary Numan is selling socially distanced MGs for upcoming tour with soundcheck/talk/signing/mask up distant photo.
No meet & greets:
GENE SIMMONS Talks End Of The Road Tour, KISS' Decision To Cancel Meet & Greets - "If One Fan Infects Any One Of Us, The Entire Tour Is Cancelled"
If someone can match this up to the three shows they've played so far then I will believe it.
8/18/21 in Mansfield, MA
Is Paul sick? In the ICU? Any update?
