When I decided to go 5.1, I replaced my JBL L166’s with Klipsch Synergy Series SF-1, SS-1, SC-1, KSW-10 (2). Still sound great.

Cornwall III's here, for the past several years - paired with tubes, as is pretty common. One of these days I'll look for a pair of project Klipschorn's.

In all the years I've been here I never ever ever thought I would live to see the day that a Klipsch speakers thread would not only run 17 pages long (and growing) but the thread itself would be a celebration of sorts of owning, collecting, upgrading/ modding and listening to an American speaker company giant's products that for many years here have IMO not been given the respect they deserve.

My thoughts exactly; I posted a pic of my mint pair of 80's khorns a while back in this thread with not a single comment or like. I've also had kg4's, several pair of heresys, and chorus II's in the past. I think they make quality speakers even though the forum for the most part doesn't.

I have a pair of Forte I's with ALK crossovers and Crites tweeter. I mostly use either a Fisher 500C or a vintage Sony SS receiver.

Also have a pair of KG2's that unfortunately have been mostly in storage since I got them.

Opinions of Klipsch speakers seem to be fairly polarized but for my budget, I am quite satisfied with the Forte's.

Yep, or either I'd have left one or two quite nasty ones. ¨50 hz; can't hear the drummer¨. ¨17 khz; can't hear the cymbals¨ What an ignorant MF.

I own a pair of bookshelf Klipsch R51M and a smaller pair of Klipsch speakers that are about half the size. I’ll get the exact model of those when I get home.

A Jolida Tube Amp FX-10 drives is my AMP with vintage (4) Millard EL-84 and (2) Millard 12AX7’s tubes. A Music Hall 25.3 DAC with a Siemens CCA tube finishes the config. I use Amarra Luxe on my MacBook to play lossless files.

It is a budget setup (other than the tubes) but I’m very happy with it - although it’s a little bright as most Klipsch are.

Overall I’m very happy with the Klipsch products.
