Watched this last night, one night after watching 1917 and three nights after Parasite. Knives Out is my favorite of the three and up there with Once Upon A Time in Hollywood for top for 2019, though I haven't seen all the contenders. Craig's southern character was kinda grating, but that was about the only thing about the movie that I didn't find top notch. I loved Rian's "Brick." I didn't realize that Rian had directed my favorite Breaking Bad episode "Ozymandias," but then he also directed the "Fly" episode.
I've seen too many movies. I guessed the ending by the time Plummer took his official exit from the film and announced it to others watching. They said I took the fun out of it. Good movie though.
It's not really a whodunit. We know who done it, and that's not really the point of the movie. It's about this awful family and this really good nurse.
Um, I guess. I basically knew Plummer didn't have to do what he did before he did it. However, knowing it was an old fashioned mystery helped me conclude there was more going than met the eye.
I just watched the movie. It held my attention for 130 minutes. Some things that confused me though. Spoiler If 100mg of morphine can kill in 10 minutes, how did the blackmailer survive for hours after being administered 100mg of morphine by Ransom? And how did Ransom know that Harlan was actually given the right dose?
Saw this last week. It's a reasonably entertaining way to spend some time, similar (but lesser) to the old Clue movie. But like all of Johnson's films, it thinks it's cleverer than it is. That's actually what all his films seem to do, as Looper exists solely to remind us what a good film Timecop is.

It's on the way! Another Mystery to Solve! Everything We Know About Knives Out 2, Including the Title and Release Date!
Glad to read this: According to Variety, Knives Out 2 is expected to be released on Netflix and in theaters.
And when that is solved, he’s going to cap it all off with a rendition of Michelle ala Patrick Wilson’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” in The Conjuring 2. So what say you, theatre or Netflix? I’ll gladly go to the theatre, even if this type of film plays just as well on the small screen.
The theater is always our first choice, especially if he has the same cinematographer as the first one. It was a beautiful film.
Agreed. Us too, with the exception of the Disney stuff. The kids don’t really care about that. Anything else they want to see on the big screen. My wife and I too.
