The original covers are reproduced on the inner sleeves.

I would assume so, since they're otherwise identical.

edit: Check the detail shot in the very first post on this thread.

I guess they wanted to erase Klaus Röder because his looks were considered "too hippie-ish". So they got rid of the mirror on the front and replaced the backcover artwork with a live shot.

That's cover painter and longtime collaborator Emil Schult because after Wolfgang Flür joined Kraftwerk his head was superimposed over Schult's body.

No Exceller 8 is a 1 LP compilation of their early years (1, 2, RUF and Autobahn)...I have an NZ pressing if it I was lucky to stumble on a few years ago.

  9. How many times are they going to repackage this catalogue or katalog, if you prefer ??

I have The Catalogue which I quite like. As mentioned, a Minimum - Maximum reissue would be most welcome !!

    Hi Guys!

They are all at 26,99€ (except The Mix and TdF which are 36,99€) on jpc (german version).

I recently bought three of the 2009 remasters on CD and I really like them.

This is more a collector item. But they really look very nice! :shh:

    Bye Andrea

why would you care about a box.

every other post is here is about how expensive boxsets are useless, and people want
to buy the albums they want.

i have the CD/DVD, also have the german version, and the asian ones with
different tracklistings. and am also missing it on vinyl, but could care less about this since
    the 3d version came out.

well you did mention they came down in price.

maybe, but i'm only a fan from autobahn onwards, and have not been
    bothered with anything before it.

in fact, autobahn and radioactivity are my least listened to albums from them.

so i wouldn't even want to try finding their earlier works.
(i've listened to them once, and that was more than enough).

Maybe everyone else's comments are about how expensive boxsets are ; but I'm not everyone else. I don't see the point of only buying select albums ; if I like a band, I like everything they do in almost every instance. Getting a full set of German language 2009 masters on coloured vinyl - especially given how difficult getting original 1975-1991 German vinyl editions is is long overdue. Stick a box around them - and the 2009 Catalogue box set was never on vinyl, if I remember correctly.

The fact you couldn't care less about Minimum/Maximum don't amount to a hill of beans. Other people exist outside of you, and their opinions also matter. I would think a silver 4 x LP version of MM would have been wise, given that it is the only official live release with Florian on it.

When the German Langauge editions were first listed they were circa 50-60 Euro, which is absurdly expensive. They seem to have become much more affordable. Not quite sure what point you're making, apart from the fact that you've forgotten how time works?

£19.70 from Zoom in the UK, if you get the 10% discount for the german versions. Tempting.

IS there a link to that? I'm just waiting on payday before I pull the trigger.

The reissue of Tour de France made the 2009 pressing drop in price on Amazon UK from £30 to £23 so I finally bought that (the pressings are identical besides the coloured vinyl, which I’m not bothered about).

I think it was Zoom.co.uk. And a 10% offer popped up on screen.

I have some other Kraftwerk vinyl albums that I want to buy before I get the colored ones:
    ------
    Computerworld - French Pressing
    Electric Cafe - Spanish Pressing

Although I might break down and get just the colored ones for:
    ------------
    Computerworld - German

Does anyone play their albums, or are they just for collecting.

I usually only rip the unique tracks and versions.
If I already have them on CD, if they are new, they stay sealed, and get put into a box.

If they are used, I usually just look at them, before putting them away.

I buy stuff mostly just for the sake of collecting, not to actually play or listen to.

Old compact disc mastering's I play. Lp's I have that I've found for a few bucks over years are for collection/artwork reasons.
That Auto above I posted is on the wall. The US Kong cut of Ralf & Florian, I did a transfer of.

The original pressing (and early reissues) of Radioactivity is far superior to the remaster. The other remasters sound fine but Radioactivity is an abomination in comparison. Many may disagree.

Received my copies of Radio Activity, Trans Europe Express and Tour de France today.

Packaging is identical as far as I can tell to the non-colour editions of the other albums which I have - and they all have the same really clear, detailed sound that I enjoy about the other 2009’s that I have in my collection.

Tiny bit of surface noise on TDF, and a slight warp on R-A, but otherwise very happy!

Had the German language versions of MM, TDF and CW on pre order, but cancelled. I think I have peaked with my ridiculous amount of KW vinyl already....

So they are exactly the same in every respect as the current editions, but with coloured vinyl?
