Well finally had a chance to listen and I am blown away. I keep hearing that the mono mix is the way to go but this MFSL is by far the best of the stereo versions I have heard. I have Bringing It All Back Home and the Highway 61 Revisited MFSL monos. What would be next on the MFSL line for Dylan?

Most recent vinyl purchase: I replaced my noisy old U.S. 1st pressing of Frampton's Wind of Change with a NM U.S. 1st pressing.
Most recent CD purchase: Grass Roots All Time Greatest Hits, 1996 MCA remaster.
I bought both a week or two ago via Discogs.

Getting into the Grateful Dead has made me start up CD collecting again. I'd been buying exclusively vinyl for 5+ years before now.
Traded in some old stuff to Amoeba Records and came away with:

Dave's Picks Vol. 18 (w/ subscriber bonus disc)
    Fallout From the Phil Zone
Rockin' The Cradle - Grateful Dead Live in Egypt '78

Then I bought a few more CDs online:

    July 1978 Box Set
    Grateful Dead Movie Soundtrack (5CD)
    Zappa Halloween '77

For years I labored under the illusion that The Cure really only had a couple of albums that were worth listening to. I was wrong. After listening to “Mixed Up” I realized that they are a much better band then I ever gave them credit for. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older and my music tastes are changing or maybe I just never gave the other albums a chance. I don’t know, but I am enjoying rediscovering them.

I own the Super Deluxe Edition of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Super Deluxe Editions of Siamese Dream and Gish as well, so Adore was one that I definitely wanted and had my eye on since it was released.

Just spent $80.00 on a sealed Beatles 65 . RIAA 6 ,so I figured it was an LA 64 pressing, it turns out it’s a Capitol Subsidiary label ,which apparently they only pressed for six months in 1968 ( rainbow label ) Stereo. If anyone has read my diatribes on Beatles / Capitol Records you have to wonder why I would spend so much money on Capitol pressing. Reason, I don’t own any Capitol, have heard other people’s, that was enough for me . As I have all the UK first pressing Parlophone , I wanted to hear exactly what Capitol did with the EMI master tapes. A majority of 65 is nicked off of Beatles For Sale . Knowing I bought a NM/M fifty year old pressing, I did an AB on each song, wont go into to detail but they barely sound like the same record . I. Think Capitols Stereo mixes are even a worse offense than their mono mixes . Now I’ve got to turn around and sell the Beatles 65 at a loss I’m sure. At least it is mint only played once ...
