She's been in quite a few movies over the years. I'm surprised that she didn't become at very least a somewhat larger star too. I think that she doesn't have much range as an actress and that has held her back some. She was/is willing to play, it would seem, some parts that many actresses don't want. She's played quite a few lesbian parts. Most actresses love playing hookers but lesbians, well, they're hesitant on.

I watched her twice this week. First in Superman 4 : The Quest For Peace and then in Personal Best. She was well-suited for those parts.

I had a box-set night. I finished off the Jurassic Park set. Number 3 is mildly amusing. I'm glad it's short. Then I watched the extended version of Superman The Movie from the Superman Anthology. "Come fly with me", I wish the super dude would take me out for a spin...

Dorothy Hoogstraten (shortened to Stratten) was a local girl and that whole sordid tragedy was huge news around here.

I've never seen the movie, maybe I'll try and find a copy.

Revisited Hitchcock's "Notorious". Also the Dick Wolf 80s film "Masquerade". The second mainly for the shots of the sailing, and Dana Delany.

    Reasonably creepy.
Starts out with a multiple personality angle then becomes more of a horror flick. (Don't think I'm revealing too much with that comment).

Never been the biggest Jonathan Rhys-Meyers fan, but that doesn't matter.
I watched this movie solely for Julianne Moore  and she was excellent, as usual.

    The Dilemma

The most tedious movie I've seen in a long time.
Doesn't help that I think Vince Vaughn is a dolt mind you but I doubt anyone could have saved this one.
