It's not quite as good as the first one, but I've seen a lot worse sequals than this.

Last night's flick was In The Name Of The Father. Daniel Day-Lewis and Pete Postlewaite were tremendous in this one. The PQ looked nice too.

Looper. Fun rental. But whatever they did make up wise to Gordon-leavitt to make him closer to Bruce Willis was distracting. If you've already got me suspending belief in time travel and telekenises, I can buy the two of them without a fake nose and bad eyebrows.

Also watched hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt (love Joseph Cotten in general, and while no major hitch twists it's so well done and creepy). And first half if Ken Burns Central Park Five before the shiner ruby redbirds caught up

Well, movies based on books rarely satisfy fans of the books. Hollywood buys the rights then changes things as needed. In the first pages of the first book Jack Reacher is described as 6"5" and 250lbs. That doesn't exactly scream Tom Cruise. They took great liberties with the plot, but all in all I thought Cruise did a decent job of getting the Reacher groove.
