Old Man and the Gun. Excellent. David Lowery has become a remarkably skilled director interested in and adept at exploring how mood and narrative pacing can convey character. The movie creates a sort of serene tension, if that makes sense. Regret I did not see in theater. And Redford finally gets to play a real albeit extremely amiable and charming criminal, not a cartoon. He and Lowery should do a Jeremiah Johnson sequel before he walks off screen forever, character returning to civilization circa about 1900.
The Andromeda Strain From Arrow Video, released in the UK around two weeks ago. Great edition with clean picture, it keeps its grain intact and color correction is better than the Universal BD, the overall picture trounces the previous Universal BD.
It's been a while since I lasted posted here. This should catch everything up. I love buying the physical copies of movies!!!
