I never had the DVD but I can assure you that this is vibrant & beautifully restored. Check this out: I Wanna Hold Your Hand Blu-ray - Nancy Allen
I got a couple of new BD's.....Resurrecting The Champ and The River And The Wall. I watched The River And The Wall and enjoyed the Big Bend scenery and wildlife very much. In the past couple of days I watched a bunch of BD's..... The Border with Jack Nicholson. It seemed rather average. I watched Mississippi Burning which I would term superb. I also watched an old fav', Bonnie And Clyde which could use to be redone because the Dolby Digital audio is flat as pancakes.
I've managed to never see it. I'll be watching it soon. Folks say it's one of Sam Jackson's best performances. I took a bunch of bites out of my new, yet to be viewed discs this week.
I liked it. Jackson is good in it. The ending is a bit sluggish. All the P's & Q's are in place but the movie keeps dotting every i it can find. I also watched Money For Nothing last night. It was amusing and I thought it a very above average movie.
"The Maltese Falcon" - I always wanted this & found it for half price at B&N. Fantastic & highly recommended!!!
