Humanoids From the Deep. Low budget horror from the 80s with a good cast.

New release this week from Paramount. First time on blu-ray in the USA for The Dead Zone. Got my pre-order in.

Ironically, I have been looking for The Dead Zone on Blu and always thought there was a version out there; is this truly the first time it's being released in the U.S. in high def?

Do you know if they will be releasing this separately? I like Pet Sematary, but not enough to own it; I actually would like Graveyard Shift better in a package like this...

The Dead Zone has only been released in region 2 on blu-ray. I have no idea if there will be a separate release or not, they may do it, but who knows. I own the first Pet Sematary, haven't seen the second one, or the The Stand. I guess I'm
just buying this for The Dead Zone and The Stand. I like Silver Bullet too, haven't seen it in a long time. I found about this from Blu-ray.com, you might find some more information there. I figure it's worth the $28.

Kim Novak was brilliant, but Laurence Harvey was terribly wooden. And seemingly playing a man without any insight.

That is a vile and absolutely dehumanizing forum.

I'll keep an eye out for the standalone Dead Zone on Blu, should it ever come to be, or just order the DVD at some point.

Wanted to see Diana Rigg. She was good in this, and it was a cut above Bond films with that ending. Though like some of the other Bond films, too many long fights and chases for my taste...

The TV Set, released on Blu-ray yesterday. I bought it mainly because one of the stars is Ioan Gruffudd, my favorite actor (he is so handsome). The film was OK, but they do throw the f-word around a lot.
