I'd forgotten that I heard this long ago till you tripped my cranium just now. Burt Reynolds used to come on the late night shows as a guest host or regular guest and do these strange but true comedy routines. Paul Michael Glazer was in one of them because hardly anybody knew that he directed a movie. :righton:

That's right -- not too many people realize that or know it, I reckon...

Here's another tidbit of info: One of the producers (or maybe writers?) was none other than Rob Cohen, who would go on to direct the first (and best) Fast and the Furious as well as The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

Further, the film was based on a book by Stephen King who went under a different pen name at the time (Richard Bachman)...

I knew the King/Bachman bit but not the Rob Cohen info. Thanks for that :righton:.

I watched Short Circuit on BD. I'm a big fan of Johnny 5. He's so nice. Most robots are evil. Evil robots call my phone every damn day. I have the sequel on BD out for a run.

Is there a BD as well in the 4K? If so, does the BD have the same color correction as the 4K? or the same old.

There's a lengthy (glowing) review on the digitalbits.com. You may want to see what they had to say??

Yes. There are actually 2 BDs included (stacked so I didn't notice at first). The movie (using the same master as the 4K) and a BD of extras.

I know that I saw that when I was a kid. Given my current state, a cranky old movie snob, I'm probably lucky I can't recall anything substantial about it beyond there's horseback riding... ;) I do remember little Roddy in How Green Was My Valley and Fright Night and various other thingies.
