$3800? Condition is stated ambiguously and seller has a poor rating. After a casual search, no copies sold elsewhere to get an idea of a true market price, although other promos, and Japanese regulars, go for at most $15. Oh, and no returns accepted. May I wish everyone involved in the exciting enterprise the very best of luck!

No way that sleeve is VG+. It has severe water damage that is clearly visible.

Regardless, this is one of the rarest Zeppelin Japan singles and does command high prices. Not sure where the market is at these days but I've heard going for more than double that price in the past.

That's more in line with the regular promo that has the typical "Immigrant Song" b/w "Hey Hey" configuration. Did it have a blue label and a picture sleeve similar to the Zep III cover?

This particular version has "Immigrant Song" b/w "Out on the Tiles", has a different picture sleeve and has a white label. It's far rarer.

But if someone got it for $258 in great shape, they got a very good deal.

This is a collector piece and a rare one at that. There should really be no surprise that it might fetch high dollars. This is typical of any rare item. Being surprised about this...you might as well be surprised at all expensive records. :)
