You're right - the Dr. Ebbetts rip is not an RL.

Search for Led Zeppelin II RL pbthal. You'll find a needledrop of it.

I got the pbthal rip and it does sound very good. It does sound to be the best sounding rip as of yet.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

I found one today and it had this info:

SD19130 75 Rockefeller Plaza NY NY

    Side One:
    Deadwax: ST-A-732783-AA 1-1
    Side Two:
    Deadwax: ST-A-732784-AA 1-2

I could have sworn it had a mastered by capital stamped in the deadwax with a R and C stamped inside an S, and the label had the Atlanic red and green 75 Rockefellar address. It looked old, but was mint, thick cardboard jacket, but the weirdest thing is that it had a barcode? That threw me off, so I left it. Does anyone know what this pressing is?

Sorry, my info is wrong, it's actually this in the deadwax:

Label + Dead wax details: ST-A-691671-AA 1-2, stamped in deadwax ATLANTIC STUDIOS D.K. RC (in sideways S) / ST-A-691672-AA 1-1 ATLANTIC STUDIOS D.K. RC (in sideways S)

I have this put aside, does anyone know which pressing this is? How does it sound? It's in mint condition. I was just surprised to see a barcode on the jacket. My canadian pressing does not have a barcode. The address on the US label is 75 Rockefeller.

Based on the info you gave, this is a late-70's pressing mastered by Dennis King at Atlantic and pressed by Specialty Records. I have no idea how it sounds.

    Later, Chris

This is obviously a later copy pressed at Specialty Records Corporation.

Thank you much! Maybe I'll take a chance and pick it up tomorrow.
