When the politicians were carrying on about changing our national anthem (away from God Save the Queen) Mic Conway wrote this beauty. A disgrace that this album has never been reissued on CD. I've met Mic Conway a couple of times. A really nice guy & a dead set Aussie legend.
ha! i don't know man, it was popular and came out on Prawn records with a picture sleeve which i still have, but it's in rough shape. I still like it for kicks! similar to this label, but mine is black:
Mushroom Records. Where would Australian music be if it wasn't for them. When all the "major" companies had their heads shoved up there bums & didn't want to release stuff because it was too Aussie. The true spirit of independent Australian music.
Wow! Mushroom were something. Michael Gudinski has been a pioneer, loved and hated. Someone needs to make a documentary big time.
