    I like the new artwork.
It gives a more positive vibe to the situation.

I expect the older fans to dislike it, having been reading for half a century that those were the worst sessions etc. But the beat goes on, and I have always been a fan of the multicoloured, rainbow-style Twickenham lights :frog:

Still chuckling at McCartney's camp tiara! Really sets off the beard!

Well, rumour suggests a different title for the audio set so if they are separating the new film from the audio I guess that there is no reason to issue them together. Maybe we will get some unexpectedly good news in October.

Yeah, it feels like Egypt Station all over again... [what was that, like 2-3 years of speculation on "Paul's new album"..?] :waiting:

I would recommend not expecting that. Then we can be pleasantly surprised if it happens... :-popcorn:

Quite surprised that they would show this now as it won't be coming out for 1 year.

Yea when I saw it on my feed I got so excited thinking they would release the book early after all but, alas, not to be.

Wow! Pre-ordering nearly a year ahead of time?

I'm assuming it was intended to be announced now if the plans didn't fall through.

    Wow.
I just wonder why they don't make it a huge selling point that they innovated just once again:
The Beatles will be the first to publish a book with moving images ... ... ...

I’m surprised they’re including lots of session dialogue transcripts in the book. I wonder if the book will transcribe George leaving with the ensuing Yoko fuelled chaos and the infamous “I’ll play what you want me to play” conversation.

Wonder how much text folks will be able to transribe from freeze frames over the next year? ;-)

I just don’t understand the point of issuing a promo for a book that’s a year away.
And to advertise it as pre-order from 16 Sept when it’s been on Amazon since March is just plain....umm....daft

I guess Mal Evan's was right... he just didn't know it would be August 2021!

"Release of the album is being held back until August so that it can coincide with the publication of a special book full of recording session pictures.

Apart from the LP and the book, there's the film which was made while the new numbers were being rehearsed at Twickenham and recorded in Apple's own new studio in the basement beneath 3, Savile Row, our London headquarters.
The fe!lows would like the film to go on television in August so that everything comes together at the same time."

Thousands of fans didn’t believe the whole story at all, so..
Seriously, the book IMO is 100% finished, ready, pressed and stored somewhere.

Probably the same warehouse as the Let It Be 50 deluxe sets! The film is the main event and guess everything else needs to wait for its big release.
