Take a look at what he's sold and bought in the past 3-4 months, and you tell ME if he sounds like he knows what he's doing.

I've actually seen the Tech print he is talking about. Jeff Joseph of SabuCat Productions had it for a while and we projected it at my place once. It's in Tech, but underwhelming. Jeff put a price of $2,000.00 on it and only had one taker; probably this guy.

    Wow, 2K investment, then a $59,999 auction :D
He must be freaking out because the DVD is to be out soon.

What does he mean by "This print, like all I.B. Technicolor prints has a black and white or "grey" soundtrack"?

Do a search here in Visual Arts for "Blue Track" technicolor. That will explain it.

I'm confused by his description, especially when he says
The previous description kind of makes sense to me, but it seems to contradict that last statement. It's more like a print close to the source for all of the others than a print that is the source for all of the others.

When thay say camera original and master print, aren't those two exclusive of each other?

Is he claiming these are the camera original glued together for editing, with no color correction?

If it has a soundtrack, it can't be a camera original, right?

I'd guess the true camera originals edit is safely somewhere at Apple, along with lots of unused footage and the Nagra recordings, so this item is valuable to a collector but is not really unique.

One can only hope the forthcoming DVD uses 16mm film as the source.
