I'm in Australia and I'm hanging out for midnight. Spotify will suffice until my Box Set arrives ( Which won't be soon with all the mail delays)

I’m liking it so far but I’m only up to Across the Universe (which I was a bit unsure of at first but have come to enjoy!).

I quite like the new mix of Two of Us. Paul’s vocals are a bit off to the left, John’s vocals a bit to the right and I can distinguish John’s vocals better in this mix than I can on the original. Was a nice touch :)

It’s a great shot and beautiful for one reason…the inclusion of Maureen Starkey.

No, but later he asked her to sit on an amplifier, and look where that got us.

I can’t tell if that is legit or not (I would suspect not, since I doubt Apple would license the Beatles for alcohol products, besides the Heineken promotion in the 80’s which was probably semi legit at best)
But if it is I need to track one of those down and frame it!

So Yoko, Linda and Maureen are all clearly present at the sessions, now that I think about it, was Pattie ever around? I can’t remember ever seeing photos of her from the LIB sessions, or even the roof, unless I totally missed it all these years.

Now that you mention it... has anyone seen Eric Clapton at these sessions? Or Ronny Wood?

Lightweight that I am, “now the doctor came in stinking of Gin” is about all of the Beatle alcohol that I can handle. ;)

"The Fut" ... hence the track being futzed with.

I still have the bootleg this came on, bought it to acquire "What's The New Mary Jane".
I think the only other worthwhile tune on there was "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" lifted from the movie. Not a great purchase.

Right. I actually prefer the 'touched up' images. I mean, I don't need to see every five o'clock sprig of beard hair.

If I had to describe the remixes in a nutshell, I’d say “clarifyingly subtle”. And this is a good thing.

I'm still listening to the Remix album on Apple Music though I did notice that some of the bonus tracks are still greyed out something I found interesting.

Just been listening to the "Let It Be" EP: the Glyn Johns mix of "Across The Universe" sounds beautiful, but his mix of "I Me Mine" sound as bad as the Youtube clip let us hear.

So, we have had deluxe boxes for "Sgt. Pepper", "Abbey Road" and now "Let It Be".
To some degree, all three reissues could have included a remix or an alternate take/edit/mix/re-edit of the "Let It Be" single b-side, "You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)".
    But none of them did.

What do you think is the reason for overlooking this great, funny song (which was actually Paul's favourite Beatles song, to boot)?
