Yes, that's right, I'm one of these oddballs that never skips "Moby Dick". I always enjoy it.

    Lol.

    in the early 1980s

    No Quarter A +
    Dazed And Confused A +
    Stairway To Heaven A +
    The Rain Song A+
    Whole Lotta Love A+
The Song Remains The Same A
    Rock And Roll A -
    Celebration Day B -
    Moby Dick B -

    in 2023

Dazed And Confused A + (still sounds fabulous)
The Rain Song (still sounds listenable)
Whole Lotta Love (haven't heard it for yonks but recall its a very powerful version; apart from the dumb rockabilly part)
No Quarter (can't believe the scaley guitar solo bores me to death now but I still like the other parts)
The Song Remains The Same (inane lyrics rendering the good guitar playing uncontextual)
Stairway To Heaven (tedious, including the additional cliched guitar licks/parts in the guitar solo)
Rock And Roll (never added much to the original, apart from the "OK, lets go" at the start)
    Moby Dick (good drum solo)
Celebration Day (live or studio; very ordinary song; particularly compared to similar riffed Voodoo Child Slight Return)

Some good guitar playing & effects by Jimmy mixed with Robert's vocal embellishments. Nice bass playing.

Actually, the 'dumb' rockabilly part is sounding pretty good, right now. :agree: Back in the day, i listened to it a million times. The last guitar licks at 13:22 before the last section, similar to D&C ending, very Hendrix. :) Memory is accurate. Very powerful version. Every member of the band is on fire & is distinctly very audible. JPJ killing it on bass.

I really like to love all the songs, except my last song listed. Not a fan of the 1st 1:20 but the rest of the song is ok though. Ideally, I'd swap the song out for The Day The Light Went Out. The other Bside is so good too Vancouver, but the album is already too ballad heavy imo. Ultimately, I think adding in the 2 Bsides for Say It's Alright Joe, & Snowbound would of made for a better overall album. Nonetheless, what an underrated album, a great overall listen.

    Best to worst:

    -If You Can't Rock Me
    -Ain't
    -IORR
    -Dance
    -Time
    -Fingerprint
    -Luxury
    -Till
    -If You Really
    -Short

Had trouble ranking because the album is so utterly, completely, wholly mediocre from start to finish.

"Rock Me" I like. I can live without the rest.
