The first episode didn't do anything for me, so after the semi-disappointment of the last season, I'm scared to go forward. I'll see what you all think.
I didn't mind Shoresy, even though as a Strayan I have NFI about ice hockey. It's basically Letterkenny but focusing on the ice hockey players, with the same types of characters and style of delivery. --Geoff
I only found out about this series a little over a year ago and binged watched every episode - love it! I also liked Shoresy and thought it was better than Letterkenny S11 which left me a bit cold quite frankly. I find myself using their sayings and vernaculars in my everyday life. I'd have a beer!!
The Bonnie McMurray character is fun, but I think the actress (Kamilla Kowal) made the wrong choice choosing to get her nose done and lips filled. I think she was more attractive in her natural state.....But hey, it's all a matter of opinion. Before: After:
I find her choice for alterations odd. Kamilla Kowal was chosen to play Bonnie McMurray. Bonnie McMurray's character is the town beauty, to the point of being revered by all who see her....hence the, "Ooohhh, Bonnie McMurray" uttered by everyone in the room she enters. Kamilla was chosen to portray the character revered for her beauty by the whole town, which suggests she is quite attractive to begin with. Why Kamilla thinks she needs cosmetic improvement makes me scratch my head. Why any Dr. would operate in this instance makes me question the DR.'s morals and ethics. But hey, people get to choose what they want, even if that choice is dubious.
I think the truth of this is that she is an up and coming actress making sure she stays relevant in her industry. She made a business decision. It's like a construction worker making sure his tools look beat up and used.
