Thanks for posting this. Sounds mega!

Hmmm...it's a retro boombox (no CD player) and there's no cassette loaded. The 'Play' button isn't even pressed down. Plus the db meter lights don't match the beat of the tune. What sort of high tech trickery is this Liam?!?

On a 1985 boombox?? What twisted time warp is this?!?

On the other hand it's possible as I'm sure Liam has at least a couple blue teeth somewhere in his big mouth.

  3. No doubt. Even odds as to whether or not he personally gets the context.

‘Born on a different Cloud’ is a Liam song that got buried on side 2 of the fairly unremarkable ‘Heathen Chemistry ‘. It’s probably the darkest song Oasis ever released and boasts a genuinely affecting lyric and vocal from Liam...great song.

I hope the chorus isn’t as repetitive as that gives the vibe... we’ll have to see. I’m curious to know who he’s worked with this time.

I bought his first solo album. I followed Oasis for years and I just like to hear Liam sing. I like to laugh at the terrible lyrics.

FINALLY. People commenting here about Liam's lyrics seem to be expecting Oscar Wilde out of him. He's Liam, one in every three words he says is fu!k and the other two are an abbreviation of "D'ya know what I mean?". And we love him like that. Well, I do.

Not a man of letters, for sure.

It’s pop song at the end of the day.

They make retro boomboxes w/Bluetooth just in case you want to bite into your bulging wad and cart one out the shop on yer shoulder. Why not.:D

    What an intelligent title! :righton:
I think you got this wrong. The people above complemented each other. Liam on the other hand simply needs a crutch because his main songwriter had had it.

    Lol.

If Noel can't be bothered to put any thought into his lyrics what makes you think Liam will?

The only good thing about NG last album title was The Who reference.

No numbered seven inch this time, just one for all stores. No b-side, just the track and etched lyrics.

I had two tickets in the basket and then my work computer decided it didn't like the Ticketmaster website and froze til everything timed out. Lovely.

Ugh, why no B-Side? What's the point.

I know I've sounded lacklustre, but I promise I am excited. It's album releases that get me anyway, not the singles.

Perhaps he doesn't have enough songs. The 'As you were' singles didn't have any b-sides as well, just etched lyrics.

    Shockwave sounds great, real stomper.

Heard rattling rose last night as well and that sounds great too , interesting going head to head with good music.
