me too...I'm curious about the new one...I'll get it on home video. : )
I saw Liam Neeson's new movie today and it was indeed quite good.
It was smartly written with good storytelling and scenery with a touch of humor mixed in to make you laugh and chuckle amongst all the action, killing and gore that goes on.
Supposed to be set in a fictional town in the mountains outside of Denver, Colorado near an Indian Reservation. It takes place in the Winter with lots of wintry scenery.
Neeson's character is similar to Charles Bronson's character in the Death Wish movies. He's a vigilante taking the law into his own hands to avenge his son's death.
William Forsythe is also in the movie. It's good to see him in something again. It's been a while since I last saw him in something (he gained a lot of weight and is looking much older than he did just a few years ago. I guess he looks his true age of 63 in the movie, but still looks much older than other roles I've seen him in.)
Laura Dern is also in the movie as Liam Neeson's wife, and she is looking old. She's 51 and only a couple months younger than I am, but she looks 60 in this movie. Time hasn't been kind to her looks.
Have to give him credit for inventing his own genre of film - the retirement age badass.
yea, and we love it! LOL...
I'm remembering Patrick Dempsey's "Teen has sex with older woman" micro-genre of the 80s.
My favorite of his early films was the sadly little seen Some Girls.
I haven't seen that one...I did enjoy him in Les Miserables...I also found a used BD with 2 of his early films...
Summer of 42.
Shouldn’t be allowed.
Old, young. Liam Neeson wears a wig. All acceptable, it’s Hollywood.
Cold Pursuit straight to dvd ?
What’s the box office like ?
Rotten tomatoes gave it 74% ratings.
Some people find these guys funny?
Never heard of them.
They had their moments. The last season of their show sucked, though.
Had to stop it after 45 secs. Pure torture. Yikes!
The sketch itself was pure torture. They just weren’t funny. Non - Stop indeed.
how many people, including this new killing spree vehicle, has liam neeson killed in his career?
i bet the answer is out there....somewhere.
That sketch was terrible, but they had a lot of classic bits. The ones about President Obama's "anger translator" Luther were just astounding.
I was saddened to hear that he put his foot in his mouth the other day. I think he should've kept that anecdote to himself or just confessed it to a priest in private. I've seen a lot of his movies. He used to be one of my favorite actors. No one is perfect, I guess.
It’s as if he secretly wants to quit acting. Mission accomplished.
Number 3 at the box office with $10 Million.
Timely SNL sketch
Talked too much. Finished.
Charles Bronson was still kicking ass in his golden years too....chuck served in WWII and he was still kicking baddies butts in the mid 80's
