  2. I don't know. The riff came from Steve something, I'm assuming a guitarist or studio engineer he worked with (not Stevie Nicks). I'm wondering if he doesn't view it as "his" song. I actually took to writing a note to him via his website, but this was at least 5-6 years ago, asking him to please complete it and find a home for it on a release. It think the song has a lot of potential.

In 1997, Lindsey was a live guest on the newscast I anchored. I'd talked with him at the FM show in Cincy a few nights before.

The Killers have also shared the release date for Imploding the Mirage: It’s out May 29 via Island. The band produced the new record with Shawn Everett and Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado. The LP, which follows 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful, includes contributions from Lindsey Buckingham (on “Caution”), Weyes Blood, the War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel, k.d. lang, Blake Mills, and Lucius.

Cool song! Not really sure I get much of LB but I might have to pick up this album nonetheless.

Has anyone heard any updates on Lindsey? I know his tour has been postponed, but I wasn't sure if there's been any updates on his condition.

Nope, much like his convalescing in 2019, it's pretty much been radio silence.
There was an article in Rolling Stone a couple of months ago that mentioned him going on tour in August to promote his new album.
Given his health, touring at this time might not be wise, but I'm hoping he still releases the album (but I'm having my doubts about that as well).

he seems fine healthwise, but looks like the whole tour will have to move to 2021, as most others.

His last proper show was late 2018. He played guitar only at a school singing event with his daughter May 2019.

He really needs to stop with the Big Love performance. The 'oooooh yeah' is bad enough, but at the end he now always sounds like a octogenerian coming.

I'm not sure if there is a thread for it already but there was a recent interview that stated Lindsey's new album is now self titled and scheduled for 2021. I can't wait to see what he comes up with this time.

I'm sure we can expect some not so subtle daggers towards the members of FM. Let me get my popcorn and headphones ready.

I know it's been a while - but Lindsey seems to be doing well. He just appeared in a video from Fender playing one of their new guitar models:

    Cheers,
