Lindsey Buckingham Announces First Concert Since Open-Heart Surgery

 

This made my week. Thanks for posting it. I hope this means his voice is fully recovered.

 

This isn’t second hand news ?

 

It was a blue letter he wrote to me.

 

Yeah you're talking about a period of over 40 years. But in recent years there seems to have been a real closeness with him and Christine especially. And from the communications from her to him made public, she wanted nothing do and had nothing to do with his sacking. It seems like John really didn't either. It was a matter of solely Nicks, and Mick knowing where his bread is buttered.

 

Also when people talk about songs, we're talking about the finished product. Lindsey built the production of those Nick's penned Mac hits. His stamp is all over her songs.

 

The news of him doing a concert bodes well for the release of his album, imo. I won't be surprised if it's a great album, he's got a real standard, and it's very, very good news that he's doing well.

They really picked up where Tango left off. I'd have loved to hear what the Fleetwood Mac album after that would have been...or if Chris had been on Say You Will.

 

So happy to hear that Mr. Buckingham is feeling up to performing. Wish him all the best!
