Anyone hear any news on Lindsey's current condition?
I'm betting we won't see "Blue Light" until 2020.

I heard he returned recently to play at his daughters graduation, he played 'Landslide' and the students sang along.
By all accounts there were tears in the audience, and he looked well all considering. Great news.

Yep, I heard that also.....supposedly, he didn't speak to anyone, and his wife posted a few days later that they were headed to the East Coast to see a specialist.
That was in May....nothing new since then. Hope the news was good.

GREAT album, would love to see a Deluxe Edition treatment, too. It kills me how many times I've seen this in the bargain bin. I like Gift Of Screws, too.

OOTC is a killer record. He played Doing What I Can (my favorite off that record) in concert last October and it was phenomenal.

You may be right, as I would expect if Lindsay is able to recover fully enough to tour, he'll wait to release it until then.

I've never seen Lindsay solo, only with Fleetwood Mac a couple of times. Once in the late 70s and again in the late 90s or early 00s. I would love to get the opportunity to see him sometime. He's done some great solo work.

His solo shows are stellar. It's like attending a grad school class in guitar technique - but with better songs. :)

I'm really hoping for the best with his voice. The lack of updates after the announcement of the visit to the doctor is concerning.

    Cheers,
    Paul

My pleasure. I've actually never heard a Lindsey solo album so I'm quite excited to hear the tracks. Always loved his FM cuts. Excited to hear him working on his own, especially after reading this thread.

I just ordered this 3 CD set through get_importcds on ebay for pennies under $19. I've been using them for a couple of years now. They have great prices on thousands of titles and offer an additional 20% discount on orders of $65 or more. Great service, too. Check them out. I have no affiliation to them other than being a longtime customer.

$19 on cd is a good deal. All things considered the $39 for the LP's is a great deal also.

Yes, it is. I'm amazed by the high cost of vinyl.

Just pulled the trigger. I'd been on the fence about getting the vinyl set. Already had the 3-CD set, but the vinyl price was just a bit too steep for me to justify right now. My price point was about double this. Easiest decision I've made all year. Feels like Christmas came early. Thanks for the heads-up.

For sure. I just got my set yesterday and listened to the first 4 LP's in full. I couldn't stop listening. The pressings are perfect. Really great sounding. A lot of music to absorb but I have the rest of my life to digest it. I have to say he was a lot more experimental and eccentric than I was anticipating. He is an artist not afraid to take a chance.

He is amazing and wildly innovative. I've already got all of his albums on CD. I'm also a huge Mac fan. But the only two albums I have on vinyl are the first two. And this is one of those rare comps that gets it mostly right.

Sure, there's not enough from the first two albums on here (especially Law & Order). But like I said, I've already got those two on vinyl. But this does a fantastic job of collecting most of my favorites from the rest of his career.

In fact, at this point, if he would just release a vinyl reissue of Out of the Cradle, I would be satisfied with my Lindsey vinyl collection. And that's saying something, because the albums are all great in their own right. This is truly a fantastic set.

With Lindsey's recent solo stuff, you get what you pay for there. :sigh: (Sound-wise, not musically)
