    Anyone have a view (generally or with respect to one or more specific recordings) about multi-channel SACDs of recordings from the quad era? At some point I will have a 5.1 set-up, and I'm thinking about buying what I believe amounts to 4.0 recordings.

    I think just about all SACD's except those legacy ones released by RCA in the early 2000's are 5.1 surround. Most of mine are the 5.1 variety though I do not have a HT setup ...

    Too many speaker cables and interconnects ...
