I'm still planning on making a Riders In The Sky discussion thread, but is anyone interested in one about The Moffats?

Wow, this is a real shame. It's a prime example of a major label mainstream modern country group and their greedy record label bullying a hard-working, long-running blues artist. Country music used to be grass roots music made for the people and now we see things have changed drastically. Hopefully everyone can join together on a global level to raise money for Ms. White's legal bills as I really want to see her defeat these covetous bullies while setting a precedent for future cases of a similar nature.

"...we had heartfelt discussions with her about how we can all come together and make something special and beautiful out of this moment..."
In other words, we're going to do what we want because we're super famous and you're not, or else we'll sue you. Just makes me sick. What a bunch of priviliged little turds.

Received Charley Crockett's new album Welcome to Hard Times...bit of an old school sound to it.

    Waylon Payne
    To be released on 9/11/20

I had no knowledge of Waylon Payne until this odd title caught my attention in in new releases on Tidal. I listened to the first three songs, Vol 1 released in June and loved them. Vol 2 followed in July and Vol 3 about a week ago. The entire album with three more songs than I heard will be released in mid-September and is a sure buy for me. If you are a fan of newer country artists like Sturgill Simpson, Darrell Scott, Aubrie Sellers, Jamey Johnson and Chris Stapleton give these songs a listen. For myself these songs are not just good but great. I wonder what you might think.
