After discovering this song through a black music themed radio program – it was the James & Bobby Purify cover - I sampled different versions to find my favorite. I settled for the one by Maurice & Mac. It was recorded at the Fame Studios in Muscles Shoals, AL, like the posted demo by Otis Redding (according to Wikipedia he was asked by studio owner Rick Hall to assist with the production of Wilson Pickett’s cover).
