Recorded at Feinstein’s 54 Below which barely seats 200. A nice intimate space for theater cabaret. I attended the show which was great.

I can’t find much info on the Phoenix 1 Club in Washington, D.C. where Solomon Burke’s Soul Alive! was recorded, but I feel pretty confident that it was small-enough capacity to qualify:

The Uris Theater, now the Gershwin, is not that small a venue seating nearly 2,000. Currently the home for the show ‘Wicked’.

@FredV The criteria in the first post was a capacity less than 2000 and it is less than 2000.

How has this one not appeared in this thread yet? It doesn’t get much liver or much better than Jerry Lee Lewis - Live At The Star Club. Unbelievable.

Lots of nice things being said about Tom Rush on these SHF pages lately, so I'll enter his Live At The Unicorn set recorded in 1962 in the cellar club at 825 Boylston Street, Boston ,Massachusetts.

Ok I have read the whole thread now and am guilty of re adding titles.

How about Blues Is King 67'
B.B. King in a Chicago club setting that does not sound enormous.
